haha, you're just restarting WoW, when last night i quit WoW and came back to FFXI i sent my IRL friend from WoW like 500g (pretty much my life savings) and every non-soulbound item i could, then i vendored the rest of the soulbound stuff and sent him that gold, needless to say he was pretty ecstatic (spelling?). i figured he could make better use of it. i just couldnt stand end game raiding stuff... i didnt have the time for it and i didnt find it very enjoyable :- /

in wow mine got deleted the first time i quit wow.they only stopped deleting characters recently cause it wasn't necessairy so im guessing taru quit wow before they stopped deleting.
also final fantasy says they are deleting characters after a period of 3 months.yet after almost 2 years both of my chars wore still there.

When I bought WoW originally, about 2 weeks after it was released, I started playing until level 25 or so, then went back to FFXI for six months or so. When I came back to WoW my character was still there...that was like a year and a half ago...so...I dunno. As far as I've known, they've always kept characters.

don think in gona go back to it not enough prtying Well...this is the way I see it. In FFXI, you're FORCED to party, in WoW you are not (until end-game anyway). The choice is still there. In fact, leveling up my warrior alt the last few weeks, I've partied with friends almost every step of the way. So, basically, there's only "not enough partying" if you let it be that way. You can choose to party if you want, its just not forced.

mm when i wanna party in wow i cant cause i don't know enough people to party with me cause you usually play alone in wow and you can't just go "looking for group" in wow.. nobody wants to party with me ; ;

Well you can now since they took over FF's LFG system

Yah, they have a very robust LFG system now...its a lot more intricate than FFXI's system, but similar...just done differently. It works quite well, although its smart "matchmaking" system isn't all its cracked up to be. >_>
A paladin as a main healer when the LFG system doesn't know the pally's spec? Not a good idea.

I was considering trying out Vanguard when it comes out the end of January, but I doubt I will...at least for a while (although I still like a lot of the concepts it brings to the table). I always like trying new games and, honestly, recently quite a few things with WoW have become rather boring. The only thing I'm really doing right now is level up my warrior to 60 before the expansion.
Burning Crusade comes out on January 16 and that has plenty enough to keep me playing WoW for a good long time, especially since I've been in the beta testing of the expansion. There's a lot more content in BC than there is in any other MMO expansion (and some base MMO games) I've seen. Should be plenty to do.
