Am I correct in noticing that you have one image that has the characters on the left and right? I kind of agree with Hazi...if you dump the right side characters from the image and, possibly, make the graphic overall larger in size, you can accommodate it looking better on larger resolution monitors and possibly even wide-screen monitors (if I have my way, I'll be getting one here soon).

I'll see what I can do It's kinda tough @.@' Since I hardly know what I'm doin' outside of Photoshop lol but I think I get the gist of what you two are tellin' me. It'll be a few till I get make up a new prototype to put up So hang tight. As for the ninjar in AF2 Prophet, the pld is also in AF2 ;3 but really, it was hard to find cool ninjars lol And that was one of the sweet poses...so I went with it

Rov, did you check out the support forums of proboards for info about editing the background? You prolly have, cause u managed to resize the board to a fixed size... but k, only asking lol >.>. Why don't u tro to center the image u got right now... and dont repeat it. U might still want to work on the outer sides of the bars, but it would look better then it does now. If u make sure the center grey field is about the same size as the fixed size of the board the bars will fit nicely. Only prob then is if someone posts a big image that makes the board resize.

I did check out the proboard forums awhile back, that's where I got a lot of the stuff like Quick Reply and the Info center. Might try your plan, but workin' on Hazi's suggestion now. Gonna see how that turns out @.@' I should be askin' one of you tech wizards to handle this lol But only one way to learn I guess.

U could also try the following:
Place this code in the global headers
<style type="text/css"> body { background-image: url( 'URL OF IMAGE' ); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center center; background-attachment: fixed } </style>
It will center the background, not tile it and fix it so that the forum will kind of float over the background... like the background is doing now.
If u want to go with one bar one the left u don't need to make some huge-@$$ background of 15k by 15k pixels >.>... that will only make loading times larger. Just make a pic of the side bar, put in the gray gradient u have now and as soon as it get to one tone of gray cut it. Place that background as you have the left bar now and make the rest of the background the same color as the last gray tone thats in the pic... if you used the same tones of color u shouldn't be able to tell when the pic stops and the normal background contineus... hope this helps a bit ^^.

You can center center? Or just center? Yes this suggestion is much better then mine, especially if you want the images to 'hug' the forum tables.
Aww poor Rovec, you haven't seen the episode where bending space time continuum has it's limits ; ;

About to start tryin' Mist's suggestion...Lets see if my puny mind can handle it lol EDIT: Tho as I look back and read what he said, I only slightly understand it @_@' Curse my simple minded self. The "center center;" part will make the image center horizontal and vertical. U can also type something like "center top;" then it'll stick in the middle on top. If u just enter center once I think it will only center horizontal... if u leave the second center (or top or whatever) out it will go back to default settings for vertical placement.
