I need some advice ^.^ I don't have the time to spend continuous hours to level in parties, I can only do that once or twice a week whithout killing myself, or ignoring my family. So, I'm looking for advice on a job that I can both level solo, but also that's accepted on missions. Like the Promys, I don't think I'm ready to tackle those yet as I think I need more skill, though I might be able to take THF/NIN, but still I'd rather have something else for it, and everything else that'll come after I've gotten CoP done. My very first love in this game after thief was dragoon, so that's an option there, I'd love to level blue mage more but getting the spells take a very long time and I'd hate to skip on learning something I might need and therefore become gimped... If you do something do it right... So My last option wuld be beastmaster, but I can't say I'm really into it, it just doesn't appeal to me at all for some reason. So between dragoon, blue mage and beastmaster which do you think is mostly viable to be able to go though the whole game with? I'll never be able to level more then 1 job to 75 so I need to just concentrate on one. Thanks.

Really you can level at your own pace on any job. If your looking for something that gets quick invites so you have more PT time and less LFG quit thf and blu and drg. Those all LFG a lot. I'd say NIN, PLD, BRD or COR or any non DD job if your trying to lvl quicky. DD jobs spend more time LFG than any other because there are many different DD's. COR is closest to DD but still getting awesome invites. You can just roll your dice and then shoot yur gun till the dice rolls wear. So yeah theres that. *Also Cor is very very very nice for Promys*
If you want to solo more BST is the way to go.

Like Taru said, feel free to level at your own pace with any job you'd like. Once or twice a week lvling isn't bad at all That's about the pace I went with my pld for 60-70 lvls. If you want to solo all the way however, beastmaster is prolly you're only real choice atm. If you'd like to mostly party, but some casual soloin' on the side, rdm, blu, blm (can solo in the higher levels pretty well I'm told...) and pup work well for that. As for what's accepted on missions, any job can be But if you're lookin' for one everyone'll prolly want. Rdm and blm is prolly highest on the list of them that I've just mentioned. (Dang sleepers get invited to everything lol). My personl advice to you is to pick the job you love ^^ and level at your own rate. So long as you're havin' fun leveling your job, you're doin' great No matter what level ya are.

Well after reading lots of bst posts and being impressed with the strategy involved and the fact I can do it at any given time sounds really good to me. The AF and level 70 gear is just too darned adorable for words too ^^. I'm such a girl *sigh* I also love this quote from Aspir on the Vana Dreams forums Sounds exciting, risky, a bit lonely, but definately something I could really get into. As for promys bst can do them as well as my thf and my whm once I get it there ^^ Now I just have to go and level blm to 18, then whm to 37 and then the fun begins!
